Enviz, Australia

Enviz is a Sydney-headquartered spatial visualisation platform that turns architectural models into walkable experiences on mobile, tablet, browser and headset. Australian builders, developers and sales agents use it to close the gap between a floor plan and a buyer's confidence.

256 GRAYS is a listed CGI partner on enviz.co. We supply the photorealistic interior and exterior renders that feed into Enviz spaces, working from Revit, SketchUp, 3ds Max or floor-plan files supplied by the platform's customers. The collaboration is ongoing.

Modsy, United States

Modsy was a virtual interior design service founded in San Francisco in 2015 by Shanna Tellerman. Customers sent in photos and dimensions of their room, took a style quiz, and received a fully designed, fully shoppable 3D version of the space with furniture they could buy in one click. At its peak Modsy raised 72.7 million US dollars in venture capital from TCV, Norwest, Comcast Ventures and others.

Between June 2018 and 2022, 256 GRAYS produced approximately 8,000 room models for Modsy. The work was high volume, schedule sensitive, and quality controlled to a single American visual standard across thousands of distinct rooms.

Modsy wound down its consumer design service in mid-2022. The team and technology were acquired by Lennar Corporation, the New York-listed national homebuilder, on 30 August 2023. Shanna Tellerman now serves as Lennar's Chief Product Officer. We are proud of the work we produced for Modsy and of the partnership it represented.
